Phase Three Goods and New Routes Integration

New Routes has been successfully integrating refugees, asylum seekers and other minority migrant groups in Norwich for over 10 years, through its programmes of English support, mentoring, befriending and youth and family activities. They support over 200 participants every week and play an important role in helping people to establish new lives for themselves in the UK – finding employment, education and becoming active members of the community.

Phase Three Goods is run by Bruce Sigrist, a freelance web designer who works specifically for small businesses, sole traders and creative start-ups. Services include website development, logo design, content development and SEO advice.

Project Summary – New Routes came to ProHelp to ask for a website redesign, including transfer to a new content management system. Their primary online platform had tended to be Facebook, because the CMS for their existing website was clunky and inaccessible. They wanted to shift to the website being the visible face of the organisation and to be able to make regular updates and blogs.  Phase Three Goods carried out a complete redesign of the website and provide ongoing support to content management. The value of this if charged for would have been £800.

Impact – The project delivered:

  • A fresh new website that is functional, contemporary and will support the organisation’s growing reputation
  • A content management system that is easy to use and enable frequent web updates to be made.
  • An online platform that reflects the quality of the service that New Routes provides and enables members of the public and funders to easily engage with the organisation

“As a small charity with a growing profile, Bruce’s support and expertise has been invaluable. Not only has he done a fantastic job in providing us with a stylish and functional interface, he has always responded patiently to changes and feedback. We’re confident that our new website will enable us to communicate better with potential funders and volunteers, and help secure a stable financial future for the charity. We’re so grateful for the professional help that Bruce and ProHelp have provided us with and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.” Amelie Sells, Communications and Development Coordinator, New Routes

“New Routes comes from a place of real integrity. Their drive for integration, empowerment and social cohesion makes me proud to be a Norfolk resident. That they do so from such a small team – and on a voluntary basis – is staggering, and they deserve every bit of support from the local community. I was only too happy to assist them with the website, and I wish the all the best for 2018.” Bruce Sigrist, Phase Three Goods
